Born on August 2, 1936 in Toronto, Ontario. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him and ultimately gave him peace.

He was a dedicated employee of the TTC for 35 years.

He joined the Canadian Navy at 19 years of age and travelled to many countries for many years trained in submarines. He served his country well.

He was a very well liked, hard working and generous man. He enjoyed life, and his favourite sport to watch was the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a true and proud Canadian. He will be greatly missed by all.

He was a devoted husband and a proud Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather to all his children. He was a pillar of faith within his family. He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Audrey Claxton.
