Moro PaulMORO, Paolo 'Paul' - It is with heavy hearts that his family announce his passing. Paul, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, died tragically on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the age of 54.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Melissa, their son Mateo, daughter Faith, and his son Justin and former spouse Sandy Chambers.

Paul is survived by his father-in-law Michael Lazarus Trenton, his sisters Damiris Moro and Nadia Moro spouse of Don Alphonso, numerous nieces and nephews, friends and special friend Tony Gutta (Spider).

He was predeceased by his father Emilio Moro and mother Catarina Basso Moro, as well as his mother-in-law Audrey Grace Trenton.

Paul was a loving and devoted family man. From the moment he and Melissa set eyes on each other they knew they would be together forever.  Nothing brought him more joy than to watch his kids grow and to cheer them on from any activity they undertook. Paul adored Faith’s creativity and artwork and was the best hockey dad to Mateo.

Paul was a dedicated and hardworking man who could do anything he set his mind to. He was an active member of the Local 506 Union and together with his friend Manny, he started his own company.  He and Melissa settled on an acreage in Essa where he was in the process of renovating their forever home.

Fiercely loyal, Paul carried his childhood friendships with Spider, Manny and many others throughout his life.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private funeral service will be held on Monday, December 21st. Although this is not the way we would have hoped to honour him, we look forward to gathering with everyone who knew and loved Paul to celebrate his life as soon as that becomes possible.

Livestreaming of the funeral service will be available for family and friends not able to attend on Monday, December 21st at 2 p.m. A link will be provided on his memorial page on the website of Skwarchuk funeral home on Monday afternoon.
