Bowen AlfieBOWEN, Alfie Pearl - Otherwise known as “Aunt Aldyth”, “Aunt Pearl” or just simply “Mom”, late of 61 Cottsmore Crescent, Markham, Ontario, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, on Monday, December 21, 2020. She was 84 years old.

At the time of her passing, at Markham Stouffville Hospital, she was surrounded by her two daughters, Sandra and Veronica and her granddaughter Llyandra.

She was born in Dawson Town, St. Ann, Jamaica, on August 4, 1936 to Jane Morgan (nee Shaw) and Daniel Morgan.

She had one brother, Herbert and a sister Relpha, who are both deceased.

She was married to Lucius Gifford Bowen and together they built and shared a loving home until the time of his passing on September 22, 2017.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.

She has left behind her three children – Errol Roy (Laureen), Sandra Althea (Noel) and Veronica Elaine (Colin); four grandchildren – Llyandra, Jayden, Justin and Tyler; her nephews Rupert, Basil (Tony) and Steve; her nieces Juliette and Janet; numerous cousins, a large extended family, church family and friends.

She was a deeply spiritual Christian woman, whose values were founded on strong Christian beliefs.

In her early twenties, she was baptized and became a founding member of the Higgin Town Seventh Day Adventist Church, St. Ann, Jamaica. At the time of her passing, she was a member of the Apple Creek Seventh Day Adventist Church in Markham, Ontario, Canada.

Arrangements with Chapel Ridge Funeral Home. Internment, she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband. This Celebration of Life service will be live streamed due to COVID-19.
