INNS, Mary Gwendolyn - 1927 - 2020 Passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2020.
Born in Kitchener, Ontario, daughter of James Dobbie and Dorothea Bevan and sister to Dorothea Richardson (predeceased) and Harold Dobbie (predeceased).
Mary was a loving wife to Gordon Inns (predeceased October 2008) for over 58 years. Passionate caring mother of six: Rebecca, Susie, Sandra, Bruce, Dee-Dee and David and beloved mother-in-law of Mike Sanders, Frank Evans, Kieron Dowling, and Lisa Inns.
Cherished grandmother of thirteen: Michelle, Christine, Gordon, Gregory, Valerie, Maridee, Marc, Shannon, Kierdra, Greer, Colin, Aisley and Tegan.
Mary was schooled in St. Catharines and won a 4-year scholarship at the University of Toronto where she resided in Whitney Hall. She graduated in Honours Languages and Literature (German, French and English) Cum Laude.
She kept busy volunteering at the church, supply teaching, reading and gardening, and loved music, opera, and painting with water colours.
She will be remembered as a strong, loving and devoted mother. She will be missed.
According to Mary's wishes there will be a cremation and private burial with immediate family.
