VIGLIOTTA, Ermelinda Giuditta (nee Moccia) - (1930 - 2021) - Ermelinda Giuditta Vigliotta (nee Moccia) passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
Loving Wife of 66 years to Marino (best friend for 79 years).
Generous and selfless Mom to Joe (Tilly), John (Trish), and Maryann (Doug). Adoring Grandmother to Jennifer (Joe), Martina, and the late Christopher. Doting Great Grandmother to Christopher Joseph Vigliotta and Damian Gallipeau.
Affectionate sister of Maria, Giuseppina and Sister Saveria Moccia (all preceded in death). Resting at St. John’s Cemetery, Newmarket amongst family.
Ermelinda was a fun-loving, broad-minded woman of her generation who enjoyed cooking for family and friends. If she could instigate a water fight along with the wonderful meal she prepared on a hot summer day, all the better! As a gardener, Ermelinda was a natural and brought joy to many neighbours and passers-by through her horticultural art.
In recent years, Ermelinda developed a passion for Aquafit classes. The many friends “Mamma” made during that time awarded her a “pool family” that brought her much joy and fulfillment.
Her fearless disposition allowed her to jump into the world of technology in her 80s so she could FaceTime family and friends at her will.
Everything Ermelinda did was done with love, faith, passion, and gratitude. As a role model of honesty and the primary link of our world, she will be greatly missed by family and friends.
