JAMES, Irma Luenda - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Irma with her family by her side on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 79 years old.
Irma Luenda Mockett was born in Georgetown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines on December 1, 1941.
Our angel will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Norman James and their children Kelvin (Vittoria), Carolyn, Petra (Nepal), Peter and Caron (Alex).
She will also be forever remembered by her siblings (Noel, Jimmy, Duncan and Franklin), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Irma was a very active member at Fellowship Redeemed Church of God Inc. in Toronto, first as a baptized Member, Church Secretary and later became ordained as Missionary.
She loved life and was the epitome of strength, love and kindness. These are the values she instilled in her family and everyone who she has come into contact with. Holding onto being a very private and close-knit family is something that Irma cherished.
With gratitude and thankfulness, we acknowledge the nurses and doctors who showed kindness and compassion in the care of our Mom. We appreciate all they did for her and for us during this time; they were truly wonderful.
Wife, Mom, Grandma, Irma, Lu, Secretary James you will be deeply missed and you will be in our hearts forever.
