THORNE, Mary Elma - It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Mary Elma Thorne, of Scarborough, on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at the age of 100.
Deeply missed by her son, Jack (Gisele), many nieces and nephews, and many friends and acquaintances at 121 Ling Road.
Services with Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, Scarborough, ON. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 26 from 5-8 p.m., and a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 27th beginning at 11 a.m., with burial to follow. Guests are invited back to the funeral home for a reception. Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor funeral services for those age 12 and older. Masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice, in Mary's honour.
