CHIKOWSKI, Gary Llewelyn   - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Llewelyn Chikowski.

He died unexpectedly on January 7, 2022, at the age of 74, after sustaining a bad fall on January 4, 2022.

He never regained consciousness after the fall.

Gary leaves behind his wife, Rosemary, his daughter, Alexia, and his son, Peter, and Peter's fiance, Sabrina.

Gary was predeceased by his father, William Chikowski, mother, Alice (nee Chuchmuch) and his oldest brother, Richard.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Terry, and wife, Carolyn, his sisters-in-law, Sharon and Brenda (Larry) and brother-in-law, David (Romona). Gary's Aunt Vernice and his many beloved cousins will miss his presence at family gatherings.

Gary was always happy to be in the presence of his many nieces and nephews and took an interest in their endeavours.

He was actively involved in coordinating music activities at the Flowertown Seniors Centre, and prior to the pandemic, he performed music at long term care homes – spreading joy and cheer to those in need. He was also a former member of the Knights of Columbus.

He will be tremendously missed by all of his family and friends, even as he remains in our hearts and memories. Gary has been cremated, as per his wishes.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Scott Funeral Home, by invitation.  A Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022, at St. Leonard's Church, in Brampton.

In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Kidney Foundation of Canada and/or the Alzheimer Society.
