McLEOD, Thomas  - Peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre on Friday March 8, 2024, in his 91st year.

 

Much loved husband and best friend of the late Anne.

 

Beloved father and father-in-law to Peter (Lynda), Janet, Cathy (Ebs), Ian (Karen), and Martha (Richard).

Proud "Grandpa", "Papa" and "Bop" to Hillary and Meaghan; Cooper, Charlotte and Caitlin; Tom, James and Heather; Jake and A.J.

 

Beloved great grandpa of Harrison.

 

Beloved brother of Bruce (Joyce) and late sister Margery. Equally at home in the office and on the river, Ian was proud to serve as a member of the following Board of Directors: The Quetico Foundation, The Paraplegic Society, and The Canadian Cancer Society.

 

He was a founding member of Trout Unlimited Canada and Beaver Valley Ski Club.

 

The family wishes to give a special thank you to Tiffany, Dr. Walji and the Sunnybrook Palliative Care Team.

 

A memorial service will be held at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue, on Friday morning March 15 at 11:00 am.

 

A reception will follow the service. If desired a remembrance may be made to The Quetico Foundation - queticofoundation.org.
