Klodt GailKLODT, Gail Margaret (nee PENDLEBURY)   -

March 18, 1945 - March 5, 2024

Peacefully, at home in West Hill, Ontario, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 78 years, after battling dementia.

Gail leaves behind her loving husband, Terry, of 50 years who was always a constant companion by her side.

Cheerleader of the family, Gail will be missed deeply by her children: Shawn (Tracey), Heather (Jason) and Tim.

From family vacations and watching sports games or just being together, spending time with her four grandchildren (John, Grace, Morgan and Nathan) was a joy in Gail's life.

Only daughter of the late Edward and Ruby Pendlebury (nee White). Dear sister to Dennis (Linda), late Gordon, Douglas (Sandy) and late Clifford (Zena).

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Gail graduated from Toronto Teachers College in 1966 and continued with her education to complete a Bachelor of Arts from Wilfred Laurier University in 1974.

She accomplished this as a young bride pregnant with her first child, commuting from Toronto to Waterloo.

Gail loved being a teacher and was proud of her work with the United and Anglican Churches helping to run Sunday school and community outreach programs. Gail touched the lives of all who knew her with a kind word, generosity, humour and quiet grace.

She enjoyed spending time with many friends and extended family who will miss her deeply (three dinner groups!). The family is grateful for the compassionate care Gail received by all caregivers who entered the family home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to All Saints Church - Community Centre, 315 Dundas Street East, Toronto. As per Gail's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A celebration of Gail's life will take place at a later date.
