MARR, William (Bill) Kerr  - Of Stouffville, Ontario passed away on January 26, 2018.

Born December 29, 1934 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Bill was a loving husband to Irene, his wife of 59 years and father to Neil (Priscilla), Eunice (Steve) and Colin (Linda).

Grandfather to Julia (Dustin), Gillian (Brian), Derek, Gavin and Lydia; step-grandfather to Beth (Matt) and Doug (Stephh); great-grandfather to Luther, Aidan, Lynley, Keaton, Perry, Macaulay and wee Neil; step-great-grandfather to Candace, Brian and Lucas.

Brother to Charlie and George (Edinburgh).

Predeceased by his sister Cathy (Pasadena) and granddaughter Zoe. Served with the Royal Air Force 1953-55. Former employee of Centronics, Philips (both Toronto), Edinburgh City Engineering Department and Ferranti's of Edinburgh. Bill was also active in the church as a Deacon and Teacher.

A fine athlete, Bill was a top-class sprinter on the Masters circuit, then transitioned to a middle distance runner in his later years and played in an over 35 football league into his late 60s. With thanks to the staff at Parkview. If desired, donations to Parkview Home.

Visitation held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home (8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham, . Tuesday, January 30th from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday, 1-2 p.m. Funeral service Wednesday, January 31st, 2-3 p.m. with a reception to follow.
