HEINS, Elizabeth Adelheid - It is with deep sadness and loss that we announce the unexpected passing of Elizabeth Heins at her home in Toronto on March 19, 2018 at the age of 87.
A truly independent spirit, she lived on her own to the end, happily tending to her beloved garden.
She was a cherished mother to her son Robyn, a loving mother-in-law to Barbara and a dear Oma to Adam and Olivia. We will all miss her tremendously.
Many thanks to Smith's Funeral Homes, Burlington for taking care of all arrangements. We will be having a private family ceremony to say goodbye to her, after which she will be cremated.
If desired, a donation can be made in her memory to the Toronto Wildlife Fund, which is located in North York.
