JONES, Dr. Emerson Douglas - June 12, 1936 – June 1, 2018
Passed away unexpectedly at the age of 81 in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
He was born in Kingston, Jamaica in June 1936.
He practiced over 50 years as a dentist in Toronto, Ontario.
Doug was the beloved husband and best friend of Sylvia Jones (nee Jackson) for over 58 years.
Will be forever remembered by his adored daughters Jacqueline Jones, Nicolette Jones and Giselle Jones and treasured grandchildren Isabella and Christian Roush and Averie Jones Cole, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
He will be remembered for his love of jazz music, watching soccer, playing dominos, being with his family and enjoying time with his friends.
Doug touched the lives of many people with his quick wit, his kindness to others and his calm steady demeanour, which he maintained all the way to the end.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Mary's Anglican Church, 10030 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4C 1T8. Visitation will precede the service at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
