AKAI, Irene Beatrice - Passed peacefully at Fieldstone Commons on June 23, 2018 at the age of 94.
Predeceased by her Husband Ivan Akai (1981).
Will be dearly missed by her Children Barbara (Lennox), Gregory, Diane and Gary (Laura); Grandchildren Lana, Tanya (Sean), Natasha and Nicole; Great-grandson Henry; Sisters Shelia, Lucille, Rose; Brother Alex; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home, Scarborough, on Thursday, June 28th from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 29th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 59 Heather Rd., Scarborough (Brimley/ Sheppard). Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society.
