TAYLOR, Alan -  It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of their father and grandfather, Alan Taylor.

Much loved father of Dianne and Craig McKee, Lynda and Gary Bando and Julie and Doug Handscomb.

Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Christopher (Denise), Becky, Sammi, Ethan and Cuyler.

Dear brother of Brian. Predeceased by his beloved wife Jean Taylor (nee Bennett), his loving companion Margaret and by his brother Eric.

Alan was born in England and emigrated to Canada with his family in 1977, in search of a better life for his children; who will be forever grateful for his accomplishing this dream. 

The family would like to invite friends and family to join them for a time of remembrance and celebration at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry, on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 4 - 6 p.m.

ARSCOTT, Tiffani Irene  -  (July 10, 1980 – November 9, 2015)

Beloved daughter of James and Donna, sister to Jeffrey (Agnes), adored Auntie Bubs to Ethan. 

Loved by her Nana Doris.  In heaven with Grandfathers Garnet and Ken, and Nanny Barbara. 

Loved niece of Susan (Greg), William (Jane), Uncle Booby, Tom (Brenda), Ron (Mary Jean), Danny (Donna) and all of her cousins.

We lost our Baby to a monster disease that needs to be stopped. Due to a lengthy illness , she lost the battle.  Gone forever but never forgotten.

Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234) on Sunday, November 15th from 11:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Lakeridge Health Foundation – Supportive Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.

SHEPPARD, Ann -  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, Ann Sheppard (née Smit) born July 9, 1932 in Lisse, Holland.

She is predeceased by her husband Wilfred and her eldest son Kenneth.

Mom will be missed by her large extended family, who span both land and sea and by her many friends. We will remember our Mom as a determined woman who instilled in us a strong sense of family.

Loving mother of the late Ken (Catherine), Paul, Brian (Harriet), Brenda (Brock) and daughter-in-law Kira.

 

Proud grandmother of Lindsay, Katie (Cal), Robert (Courtney), Joshua (Michelle), Jonathan (Ashley), Jessica, Jamie (Paul), Steve (Alex), Amie, Coby (Louis), Jacob and Julie.

Adoring great- grandmother of William, Andrew and Ryan.

Friends will be received at The Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main St. S. (Hwy. 10), Brampton, on Friday from 7 - 9 p.m.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at CrossPoint Christian Reformed Church, 444 Steeles Ave. W., Brampton. Cremation to follow.

Ron passed away peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2015, at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, surrounded by the love of his family, after a long battle with cancer, at the age of 84. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joan (née Bowen). 

Loving father of Janet (Martin) Joncas, Leanne (Darren) McAlister and predeceased by son Brian (2006) and daughter-in-law Kim (2014). 

Proud Grandpa and Poppa of Jennifer, Jessica, Matthew and Marissa. 

Dear brother of June (Len) Beeston.

He will be missed by his sister-in-law Norma Bruce and many nieces, nephews and friends.
