HARDIE, Jane 'Jean' -    (retired from Esso Petroleum Canada)  Tragically passed away at the cottage on September 26, 2015 in her 75th year.

Beloved partner of Alan Forrest. Cherished sister of John (Norma) Hardie of England and the late Tom Hardie of Scotland.

Dear aunt of Alison, Niall, Malcolm and Graeme.

Jean will be sorely missed by her many close friends and extended family.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 2-5 p.m., with eulogies at 3 p.m. in the Weston Room of the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd., Weston. Cremation has taken place.

DALE, Jean Evelyn -

July 28, 1929 - September 20, 2015

It is with sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

After a brief illness, Jean passed away peacefully on Sunday September 20, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 86.  

Survived by her beloved husband Douglas, of 56 years. 

Loving mother of Linda, and Vivian. Proud grandmother of Jesse (Sarah),  Steven and Jenna (Zach).

Predeceased by her brother Jack (Marge) of Pembroke, and her sister  Joyce of Wasaga Beach. Jean will be fondly remembered by many family and friends.

 

We would like to express our gratitude to Traditions of Durham Retirement Home for their support extended to our family during this time. We would like to thank the nurses at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, floor C7 for their compassion and care.

A private family Interment service will be held at Thornton Road Cemetery at a later date.

In memory of Jean’s love for animals, a donation to your local animal shelter may be given.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones and now reunited with her beloved husband Joseph (2013), on September 24th, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at 75 years of age.

Betty, loving daughter of the late John and Mary Jacula. Best friend and cherished mother of Lisa, Karen and her husband Michael Boadway. Dear sister of Marie Beaucage, the late Ann Nyerges and John Jacula.

She will be missed dearly by her extended family and friends.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Frank Fung and staff for their excellence and endless compassion, Durham EMS, Oshawa Fire Dept. and Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, also a special thank you to Care Partners Nurses Sarah and Nicole, St. Elizabeth PSW Shereen.

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Geraldine Hilda Mullen on Friday September 25, 2015 at The Wynfield Long Term Care in her 98th year.

Cherished mother of Marlene and husband Hillard Sell.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her grandsons Todd, Scott, Ryan (Dana) and great grandsons Reid and Nolan. Geraldine was the daughter of the late Elmo and Mary Tattersall.

Pre-deceased by sister Margaret (Frank) Conlin and brothers Gordon (Doris) and Wilfred. Geraldine leaves behind her sisters-in-law Muriel (late Elmer) Mullen, Mary (late John) Mullen and Doreen (Glen) Dobbs.

Pre-deceased by sisters-in-law Gladys (Merv) Linton, Maxine (John) Gates, Ruth Squires, Maureen Mullen and brother-in-law Pat Mullen. Relatives and friends may call at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Tuesday September 29, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at St. Gregory’s Cemetery.

Frank was an avid music lover, animal lover and very devoted sports fan that enjoyed having the occasional Czech Beer.

Jobin RonWith sadness we announce the passing of Ron Jobin on September 25, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a courageous battle with cancer.

Loving partner of Luci, caring father of Matthew (Tina) and Michelle (Toby), proud grandpa of Archer.

He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and The Dude.

Ron was both strong and compassionate, had a deep sense of conviction, could always be relied on to take care of his family and friends, and to do what was right.

He enjoyed the open road, sunny days on the beach with a cold beverage, playing hockey as a skilled defenceman and watching his beloved Leafs (for better or for worse).

Visitation will be held at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby, 905-443-3376 on Tuesday September 29, 2015 from 5-9pm.

Memorial Service will take place Wednesday September 30, 2015 at 11am.

Ron died at Toronto Western Hospital with his loving partner of 32 years Richard McLellan and his sister Barbara Gordon at his side.

Predeceased by his parents Don and Ann Gordon.

He was a dedicated teacher- librarian for over 30 years prior to retirement.

He was forever inquisitive, engaged, empathetic and generous.

There will be no funeral.
