It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer Lee Arundell, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Jennifer was born on August 25, 1954, to the late John and Phyllis Hill. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, John Arundell; her daughter, Starrlee (Matthew) DeGrace; her stepson, James (Jennifer) Arundell; her grandson, Timothy-Jack; and her brother, Bradley (Valerie) Hill.
Jennifer's passions in life were simple yet profound. She loved the magic of movies, the serenity of the water, and the connections she made through her online community. But most of all, Jennifer loved to tell stories. Her endless tales, filled with 75 subplots and 32 tangents, had a way of making us laugh and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Jennifer may be gone, but her memory will live on in our hearts. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, but we take comfort in knowing she's at peace and reunited with her beloved parents.
Rest in peace, Jennifer. Your love, laughter, and legacy will never be forgotten.

In Loving Memory
At the age of 95, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called home to his Lord and Saviour, peacefully in his sleep.
Simon was born in Ruigahuizen, a small village in the Netherlands. In 1954, he and Joan married and immigrated to Canada, eventually settling in Whitby in 1963. He worked as a farmhand before transitioning to Dunlop/Firestone and later General Motors. In retirement, he dedicated his time to Durham Christian Homes, where he worked security and volunteered tirelessly.
Always quick with a joke and a smile, he was loved by many. He was deeply devoted to his faith, serving his church as a custodian, elder, deacon, and committee member. A talented woodworker, he created beautiful pieces ranging from furniture to windmills and bird carvings. Simon and Joan also shared a love of travel, exploring North America from Newfoundland to Alaska, California, and Florida.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 70 years, Janke (Joan) Jongsma (née Doorenspleet), and three children: Sylvia (Paschal), Perry (Pam), and Alfred (Sylvia). He was a cherished grandfather to Jeffrey (Jamie), Jennifer (Brent), Joanne, Megan, Laura, Ryan, and Kiera, and a proud great-grandfather to Chloe, Alexander, Nicholas, Ginnie, Isabella, and Sam.
Simon will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Darryl Philip Seifried, who departed this life on January 28, 2025, at the age of 86. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, cherished by all who took the time to know him.
Darryl will be remembered for his kindness, toughness, and unwavering willingness to fight for what he believed in. He found joy in helping his family—teaching his grandson Jacob how to swing a hammer, working on arts and crafts with his granddaughters Alana and Makaela, or taking on countless construction projects with his sons Scott and Shawn.
He was an extraordinary person, with qualities that inspired admiration and some that challenged understanding. Yet, what truly matters is the impact he left on every one of us—a legacy of love, lessons, and memories that will never fade.
