Justin Riley Hunter Trudeau
December 8, 1999 - October 8, 2024

In loving memory of Justin Riley Hunter Trudeau (AKA Justin Time, Fat Fats, Pretty Boy), known to his friends as Riley. Born on December 8, 1999, at 6:21 a.m., he was taken from us suddenly on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the age of 24. Justin was a loving spouse to Deyanehra Dokum and devoted father to Fall Trudeau and Laney Lavallee. He was the cherished son of Bonnie Trudeau and David Maiangowi, and baby brother to Kaitlyn, Nathan, and Terry. Justin was a proud uncle to Cameron, Kolby, and Leah, and the godfather to Kolby Trudeau.

He was blessed with loving grandparents: Josette Wahsquonaikezhik, Donald Trudeau, Gertrude Manitowabi (baa), Donald Maiangowi, and Louise Recollet (baa). Justin was a special nephew to many aunts and uncles, and his godparents were Barbara Eshkawkogan and Cory Bob. He will also be deeply missed by his many friends, including Moses P., Wiingash M., Brayden P., Sapper W., Tanner K., and many others whose lives he touched.

Justin had a contagious laugh and a humorous nature. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was known for his talents in cooking, singing, tattoo artistry, drawing, and photography. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and riding his sea-doo and electric scooter. He had a deep passion for investing in himself and his future, and he held extensive knowledge of traditional native medicines, often helping others with his energy work.

Justin’s caring and compassionate spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. He never said goodbye but would always say “Hi” when leaving, a testament to his enduring kindness. Baamaapii Kawaabmin Zaagin – "Until we meet again, I love you."

Family and friends will gather at Rabbit Island Centre for visitation on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Mission Church on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 3 p.m., with burial to follow in the Wikwemikong Upper Cemetery.
