Bernard Tuck

June 18, 1937 – November 2, 2024

Bernard Tuck passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital on November 2, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on June 18, 1937, in Biddestone, England, Bernard immigrated to Canada in 1948 with his mother and brother Doug, eventually settling in Alliston, Ontario, and later moving to the Hanover area in the early 1950s.

Bernard dedicated many years to working in the agricultural fertilizer business and was widely known for his kindness and gentle demeanor. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (nee Dinean) and a cherished uncle to Graham (Cathy), Sandra (Art), and Carol (Chuck). Bernard will be fondly remembered by the Dinean family of England and Ireland, as well as by dear friends Judy and Brent Falls, along with Laura and Jessica.

Predeceased by his parents, Edith and Clarence Buyers, his brother Doug (Audrey), and sister Gwen, Bernard’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Bernard’s memory may be made to the Hanover and District Hospital or a charity of one’s choice.
