Leo Noel Vachon

16 December, 1934 – 14 January, 2025

Leo Noel Vachon passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. He was the loving husband of Denise for 63 wonderful years. A devoted father to Michael, Richard (Roberta), and Denis (Roxanne), Leo was also a cherished Grandpa to Makayla, Carson, Nathan, Christian (Reagan), Mariah (Devon), Nichole (Drew), and Aaron (Jill). He was a proud Great-Grandpa to Emilia, Violet, Tobias, Caden, and Fallen.

Leo was a dear brother to Anita and was predeceased by his siblings Solange and Florian. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Leo’s warmth, kindness, and dedication to his loved ones left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the 4F Palliative Care Unit for their kindness and compassion shown to Leo and his family.

At Leo’s request, a private family service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Oshawa Funeral Home.

Memorial donations in Leo’s memory may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
