Valerie passed peacefully in her sleep, at the Kingston General Hospital, on Saturday, July 28, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of 59 years, to the late Floyd Black.
Dear Mother of Paul and his wife Rosanne and Grandmother to her precious grandchildren Noah and Katie.
Valerie was predeceased by her parents Franklin and Ida Parrott and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, and their families.
Family and friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 10:00 am – 10:50 am, followed by the funeral service in the Chapel at 11:00 am. A reception will follow in the James Reid Reception Centre.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations made to Bethel Pentecostal Church, Battersea or Evangel Temple, Napanee, would be appreciated by the family.
