ZAGOTSIS, Vasiliki Kulla (nee PETKOU) - Kulla passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the age of 88.
Born in Florina Greece, Kulla came to Canada in 1949 with her mother, Aspasia and brother, John.
Loving wife of Sofoklis (predeceased).
Treasured by her children, Patsy and Chris (Jacqueline). Cherished Yia Yia to Nicholas and Christos.
Friends will be received at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 4-8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at on Thursday, December 28th, 2023 at St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Avenue, Scarborough at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Scarborough.
The family would like to extend a heartful thank you to the staff at Scarborough General Hospital for the care and compassion.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and support staff that provided palliative care, with humanity and kindness to Kulla in her final days at home.
A very special thank you to Roxanne J., her PSW for the last six years who provided exceptional care, compassion, grace and empathy to Kulla and her family.
