Emelda Touchette Villeneuve

Peacefully in her sleep on Monday, December 23rd, 2024, at the age of 98 years. Emelda Touchette (nee Villeneuve) of Pembroke was the beloved wife of the late Aimé Touchette (July 25, 1983). She is survived by her children Monique (Don) Harkin, Louise Gratton, Claire (Shawn) Kydd, Denis Touchette, and Robert (Doris) Touchette. A caring grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, Emelda was a loving sister to George (Colette) Villeneuve.

Predeceased by her parents Euclide and Liane Villeneuve (nee Danis), her granddaughter Céline Harkin, and by 10 brothers and sisters. Respecting Emelda's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Pembroke, on Saturday, January 11th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local food bank would be greatly appreciated.
