Ursula (Thoma) Viney

October 6, 1963 – March 12, 2025

With broken hearts, we share that Ursula Viney has peacefully passed away, taking her place beside our Heavenly Father. She left this world with her beloved by her side, hand in hand, as she took her final breath.

Ursula courageously battled brain cancer for nearly three years. Through it all, she remained full of grace, positivity, and strength. Her radiant smile never faded, and her unwavering spirit was a beacon to all who knew her. She was a beautiful wife, walking not in front or behind, but always side by side with her partner of nearly 27 years.

A devoted mother to four children and “Oma” to eight grandchildren, Ursula was a loving family woman, a vibrant and caring coworker, and a loyal friend. Her kindness, humor, and deep compassion for others will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Her family takes comfort knowing that her suffering is over, and she has found peace and eternal life. She touched countless lives with her warmth and positivity and leaves behind a legacy of love.

A Funeral Service will be held at Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a cause dear to Ursula’s heart — the Ontario SPCA & Humane Society. Ursula loved animals deeply and would be forever grateful for any support made in her memory.
