It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Waller (LeClair) on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at McCormick Home in London, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of the late Rene Leclair (2018). Darlene was deeply loved and will be missed by her children Doug (Cheryl) Waller and Corrine (Victor) Waller, and her godson Steven Major. She was a cherished grandmother to Rene, Bailey, Allan, Tricia, Josh, Braelyn, and a beloved great-grandmother to Kingston, Hunter, Alyliah, Tytan, and Brynleigh.

She is survived by her dear siblings Erica, Gloria (late John), Michelle, Jennie (late Jim), April, and Myrna, and predeceased by her sister Yvonne (2000). Darlene will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and as a loving foster mother to numerous children through Elgin County Family Services.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Arn Funeral Home, 193 Shackleton St., Dutton. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rodney Cemetery.

In memory of Darlene, donations may be made to a charity of choice. As we remember her, may she “Fly high with the angels beautiful”—she will be forever missed and loved.
