COUVIER, Wayne Couvier - It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Wayne Couvier on May 23, 2022, at Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry with his daughters by his side.
Wayne, predeceased by loving spouse Diane Dionne, will be dearly missed his beloved daughters Tara Pittens (Brian) and Jenna Harper (Chris) and loving grandchildren, Jack, Matthew, Olivia, Georgia & Dakota.
Lovingly remembered by his sister Donna Hooey (Neil) and predeceased by sister Bonnie Reid (Robert), nieces, nephews and many friends.
After a courageous and short battle at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Wayne passed away peacefully at Oak Ridges Hospice where he was at peace with family by his side.
During his final days, he was able to enjoy the things dearest to him, his daughters, yummy food, music and lots of laughs.
The family of Wayne would like to thank the many team members at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for their unwavering care, support, knowledge and compassion.
They would also like to express their profound gratitude to the Oak Ridges Hospice for their compassion, kindness, humanity, and empathy during Wayne’s time there.
We invite family and friends to join us in Celebrating Wayne’s Life on: June 25, 2022, 1:00pm - 4:00pm, at Orono Arena and Community Centre (Upper Hall), 2 Princess St., Orono.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry in Wayne’s Memory.
