Ronald "Ron" Kenyon Webb, K.C.

November 24, 1932 - October 30, 2024

On October 30, surrounded by family and with a full heart, Ronald “Ron” Webb shared a final “I love you all” and peacefully closed his eyes for the last time. He is profoundly missed by his adored wife, Nancy, his children Kim, Terry (Natalia), Susan, and Carol; grandchildren Ian (Alicia), Nicholas (Tania), Mel (Jake), Riley, and Oliver; and his great-grandchildren Charlie and Winnie.

Born in Toronto to Jean and William Webb, Ron was the eldest of five siblings: Dennis, David, Lynda, and Paul. He was deeply influenced by his loving Aunt Isobel and later attended Victoria College and Osgoode Hall Law School, where he made lifelong friends. It was during these days he met Nancy Doubt, his future wife, beginning a beautiful journey together.

In 1957, Ron and Nancy settled in Brampton to raise their family and build Ron’s esteemed career. A pillar of the legal community, Ron joined forces with A. Grenville Davis Q.C. and Bill Davis to form Davis Webb LLP, specializing in municipal and land development law. A respected leader, he supported former Premier Bill Davis and numerous community leaders, served on multiple boards, and was recognized with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ron and Nancy enjoyed a life filled with friendship, travel, and family. Family time was always his priority—memorable family ski trips, summers at the Georgian Bay cottage, and gatherings with loved ones. His warmth, wit, and unwavering support for family and friends will be dearly remembered.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Georgian Bay Land Trust or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in his honor.
