BROWN, Wendell A. - Wendell, the most wonderful husband of 60 years to Delrose Brown (nee Smith) went to be with his Lord and Savior on the evening of January 5th, 2024 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, surrounded by family.
Predeceased by parents Charles and Advira Brown.
Brother to Dorrett Brown-Wood and Alvin Brown.
Pre-deceased by siblings Wilbert Brown, Delkie Brown-Wright, Doran Brown, Gladys Brown- McDonald and Adela Brown.
The greatest father to Andrew, Carol (Doug), Richard and Mark (Candice).
Dear grandfather to Victoria, Michael and Daniel Giddings, Taylor, Corey, Jonathan and Matthew Brown and Samuel and Jadzia Brown.
Loving uncle Pep to many nephews and nieces. He was born in St Ann’s, Jamaica and moved to Birmingham, England in 1961 then to Port Hope in 1977. He lived to love all people from the youngest to the oldest and in turn was well loved by all who crossed his path.
He loved his Lord with all his heart, and served as a deacon for many years at Faith Baptist Church in Port Hope, and Fellowship Baptist Church in Cobourg. Later he attended Newcastle Fellowship Baptist Church.
