HASELBACH, Yvonne Vyvyn - Peacefully, with family by her side, Yvonne passed away at the age of 76 on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 at the Credit Valley Hospital.
In the last 22 months of her life she faced a devastating cancer diagnosis with strength and determination.
Predeceased by her loving parents, Herb and Jean Barney. She will always be the cherished mother of Kelly and her husband Martin, and Lisa and her husband Martin, and a much loved grandma to Steven, Cassi, Jaimie, Abbie and Hannah. Yvonne will be dearly missed by Malcolm who filled the last months of her life with happiness and love.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends she met in her neighbourhood, through her career at Parmalat Canada, bowling leagues, Curves fitness, Sorority, yoga and art classes.
A special thank you to Dr. Emily Kuhlmann and Dr. Phil Tremblay for their kindness and exemplary care and the staff at the Credit Valley Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassion towards our mom. We are forever grateful.
Celebration of Life will be held at Glen Oaks funeral home, Oakville on November 1st from 6 - 8pm.
In memory of Yvonne, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House in Oakville would be much appreciated by her family.
