In Loving Memory of Rosa Zavaglia. Born in Mammola, Italy, on October 27, 1941, Rosa passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, ON, one day after her 83rd birthday—a day shared with the birthday of her beloved husband, Domenico, who predeceased her.
Rosa was the embodiment of love, kindness, and devotion. She leaves behind her cherished daughter Diane Yolevski, son-in-law Jim Yolevski, and daughters-in-law Erica and Emily Yolevski. She will be deeply missed by her grandsons, Alexander and Marcus Yolevski, and her great-grandsons, Jacob, Joshua, and Elio Yolevski. Rosa is also survived by her dear brother, Salvatore Zavaglia. She is predeceased by her husband Domenico, son Marco, parents Carmela and Giuseppe, and siblings Domenic, Vincenzo, and Angela.
A devoted gardener, Rosa brought beauty into the world with her flowers and warm spirit. She loved spending time with family, cooking delicious meals, and enjoying her time at the casino with a playful spirit. Her love, kindness, and joy for life touched all who knew her.
