It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Larry Zavitz on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, at the age of 83 years. Larry is survived by his loving spouse Judy, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Laurie (James Marsh) Zavitz and Annette Chapple, and an adored grandpa to Nicole and Will Chapple. He will also be fondly remembered by his large and loving extended family.
Larry was a dedicated family man and an award-winning photographer. Despite his battle with ALS, he never lost his sense of humour or his vibrant spirit. His resilience and positivity inspired all who knew him.
In Larry’s memory, donations may be made to the ALS Society of Windsor-Essex County or The Hospice – Erie Shores Campus, as these organizations were dear to his heart.
Memorial visitation will be held at Families First East Windsor (1065 Lauzon Road) on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
