June Ziegler

1929 - 2025

It is with much love and gratitude that we mourn the passing of Dorothy June (Kettles) Ziegler at Royal Terrace, Palmerston, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the age of 95 years.

Wife of the late Albert "Happy" Ziegler, who predeceased her in 1995.

She will be greatly missed by her children Douglas Ziegler of Guelph, Sharon Gawel of Harriston, Carol and Chuck Armstrong of Mount Forest, Tim and Sue Ziegler of Mount Forest, and John Ziegler of Harriston, and by her son-in-law Les Leck of Paris.

She was the loving grandmother of Les Jr. and Julie Leck, Janna and Len Leith, Blake and Dryden Armstrong, Shelley and Nick Vlassik, Katie Ziegler, Jesson Ziegler and Linda Rocha, Brayden and Sierra Ziegler, Parker and Kayleigh Armstrong, Jaron and Britt Ziegler, Sheena Gawel and Damien Conneely, Bethany and Jamie Kelly, and George Jr. Gawel; and great-grandmother of Austin, Benson, Dexter, Damien, Brooks, Anna, Luke, Will, Ben, Louie, Reese, Hayden, Lachlan, and Finnegan.

June was predeceased by her daughter Debbie Leck in 2015, grandson Blair Ziegler in 1989, dear sister Betty Neil and husband Clarence, parents Milton and Janet (Whetstone) Kettles, Hap’s parents William and Grace (Stinson) Ziegler, and by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home on Friday, February 28th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Harriston United Church on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the entire staff at Royal Terrace for their compassionate care and professionalism. They would also like to thank Dr. Semelhago for his guidance.
