The Zimmer-Sattaur family mourns the passing of Mary Lea Zimmer, who peacefully passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 79.

Mary was the beloved mother of Christina (Edward) and Tracy (Chris). She was a deeply cherished "Gammie" to Maliya and Jacoby, and a loving grandmother to Laura and Kathleen.

She was the loved daughter of the late Erwin and Catherine Zimmer and the treasured sister of Gail. Mary was predeceased by her siblings June, Dave, Jane, Jim, Glenn, Lew, Terry, and Tom. She will also be fondly remembered as a dear aunt to Ken, Diane, Heather, Mark, Tim, Becky, Cindy, Colin, and the late Niki.

Mary Lea will be greatly missed by her extended family and many friends. Her kindness, warmth, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honour her memory.

Mary Lea has now found peace, rest, and eternal serenity—like a gentle river returning to the vast endless sea.
