ZINCK, Mary Zinck - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joanne Mary Zinck, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Joanne was born on November 21st, 1952 in Scarborough and passed away on July 13th, 2024 in Ajax. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
Joanne's life was enriched by her loving family. She shared 44 beautiful years with her devoted husband Wayne, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Together they had two children: Roger and Krystle (Justin).
Joanne always enjoyed seeing her grandchildren, with Lincoln and Violet often bringing a smile to her face. Joanne enjoyed sharing her everyday life with her siblings: Joe, Brian, Dale, Linda, Gale, and Sharon. She also had a special
bond with many of her nieces and nephews.
Throughout her life journey, Joanne embraced every moment with passion and determination. Her rebellious spirit led to countless adventures as she explored the world through travel - always seeking new experiences to enrich her soul. Whether it was dancing at social gatherings or enjoying a lively game of Bingo with friends old and new; she found joy in connecting with others.
In addition to being an avid traveler and lover of dance floors everywhere she went; Joanne faced adversity headon when she battled cancer earlier in life. This experience shaped her into a fierce advocate for cancer research support.
Family was important to Joanne; from caring for her nieces and nephews or sharing stories during holiday gatherings - these moments were precious to her heart.
Visitation for friends and loved ones will be held on Friday July 19th from 1-3pm at McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME followed by a service celebrating the life lived by our dearly departed Joanne Mary Zinck.

Joanne's zest for living fully has left a mark upon all those whose lives crossed with hers – may we honour her memory by embracing each day just as passionately as she did.
