FEDRIGO, Agostino - June 1, 1950 - May 13, 2021
Immigrated at the age of 5 from Italy, with his mom, Serena Fedrigo (deceased) to join his father Angelo Fedrigo (deceased) in Canada.
Aggie was a loving husband to Cheryl (Barker) for 49 years.
He took great pride in his children Denise (Fedrigo) Albrecht and Mike Fedrigo.
He adored his son-in-law Bill Albrecht and daughter-in-law Ashley (Laverdure) Fedrigo.
His greatest joy was his four grandchildren, Ben, Mia, Charlotte and little Samantha.

MEGLIO, Antonio 'Tony' - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Antonio Meglio on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife of 57 years, Sara (nee Bello).
By his three sons and daughters-in-law Peter and Bea, Nino and Kathy, Maurizio and Lisa.
Tony took such pride in all eight of his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Alexandra, Mikaela, Anthony, Sara, Joseph and Daniela.

LOPEZ, Juan Antonio Pac - Passed away on May 13, 2021 from adverse effects of stage 4 lung cancer.
Juan was preceded in death by his wife Gaetane Dion, mother, Julia Francisca López Villatoro, Father, Florentin Pac Reyes, sister's Zoily Antonieta Pac López and Paula Izabel Pac López.
He is Survived by his children Jenny Pac and 2 daughter's Maya and Catrina, son Jimmy Pac and Ricardo Pac.
He is loved by many and will be missed many more. He loved life, animals and nature.

CROW, Lance Kevin - Suddenly entered into rest at his home, on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
Lance Crow of Picton, formerly of Oshawa, died at the age of 67.
He was the son of the late Norman and Audrey Crow (nee Nelson-Cooper).
Lance was the loving father of Donna Crow (Rob Leth) of Whitby and Ian Crow of Courtice. He was the dearest grandfather of Sidney, Leif and Esme.
Lance is survived by his siblings Keith (Betty), Bruce (Nancy), Brenda Schrader (Laurence) and Terry (Susan) and he will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews

McPHEE, Ian Douglas - Ian Douglas McPhee, 94, of Scarborough, died peacefully on May 13, 2021.
He was devoted to his beloved late wife Anne, to his children Shane, Michelle, Andrea and Brian and their spouses, to his grandchildren Callum, Kevin, Frances, Brady, Sophie and Madeline, and to his surviving brother Lauchlin.

FERNANDEZ, Rita - January 22, 1926 – May 13, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rita Fernandez on May 13, 2021, in Montreal, at the age of 95.
She was beloved sister, aunt, great-aunt and godmother to many.
She leaves behind sisters-in-law (Mary Fernandez, Joyce Fernandez, Philomena Fernandez and Genevieve Fernandez), many nieces and nephews, their families and her friends.
Rita had a lifelong love of learning and earned several graduate degrees including Law and English Literature for which her graduate project compared the poetry of Isherwood and Marlowe.

We are sad to announce the death of Margot (91) at Hazelton Place Retirement Residence.
Margot was vibrant, fun-loving and full of life and left an impact on everyone she met.
She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Arthur.

SZCZESNY, Wilfred - 1941 - 2021 It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Wilfred, at the age of 79, on May 13, 2021.
Born in Rouyn-Noranda, QC and raised in Toronto, Wilfred worked as a journalist, translator, and was an editor-in-chief at Kobzar Publishing Company.
He joined the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians in 1953 where he took on various leadership roles and served as President of the Shevchenko Museum until his passing.
A man of passion and conviction, Wilfred was an organizing member of the Communist Party of Canada for over 60 years, taking action on various people's movements, such as the struggle for labour rights, and women's and healthcare equality.
Wilfred was active in the Young Communist League for many years and worked with the World Federation of Democratic youth, reporting on student movements in Hungary, Algiers, Czech Republic, Germany, Ukraine and Cuba.

WILLCOX, Laura Jane - Laura Willcox, 59, beloved daughter of Jane Mary Grant Willcox and Roy Herbert Willcox (deceased) and sister of Elisabeth, Chris Willcox (Lark Lewis), and Chris' sons Jasper and Emmett, suffered a brain aneurysm on Mother's Day.
Laura died Thursday, May 13, 2021, surrounded by her loving mother and sisters.
She was adored by family and friends for her bright smile, huge heart, bubbling laugh, kindness, compassion, and fierceness for those she loved. Laura and her sisters and mother were incredibly close – dear friends as well as family.
Laura was a beloved auntie to Jasper and Emmett DiGennaro-Willcox, with whom she spent many beautiful moments playing, laughing, and hugging.
The family is bereft at the loss of their dear "Loee," but striving to hold her spirit close and live on with and for her as they would have done together.

JURENS, Jaxon William - Was born in Toronto on February 21, 1955 & passed away on May 13, 2021 at the age of 66.
He is survived by his wife Chris of 27 years, his son Jason and his two brothers John & Jim.
He was always a lover of the outdoors, had a great passion for all forms of science and was a softly spoken, kind hearted individual who loved to meet & converse with people at any time.
Many can attest to his friendly and warm nature which were some of his most defining qualities as an amazing spouse, father & friend.

She will be sadly missed by all. Judy was truly a loving person with a sense of humor that touched all who knew her.

YU, Mina Yuen Ping - (1950 - 2021) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mina Yuen Ping Yu, on May 12, 2021, at Sunnybrook Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents Bing Kui and Lily, Mina is survived by her sister Betty (Albert), her brother Kwok Fung, her niece Joanna (Derek), her nephew Ben, her great-nephews Christopher and Trevor, and her dear friends Florence and Ellen.
Born in Hong Kong on December 2, 1950, Mina was the youngest of three siblings. She immigrated to Toronto in 1988, and settled down in Scarborough. A member of the Hallelujah Chinese Evangelical Free Church, Mina regularly attended Sunday Service and small group meetings.

VENEMA, William 'Bill' Timothy - (September 9, 1969 – May 12, 2021) -
William (Bill) Timothy Venema was born on September 9, 1969, in Brampton, Ontario. He was barely 5 pounds and we were given the news that he had special needs. These special needs were part of what made him so special.
Bill was surrounded by a very loving family, many friends, and a supportive church family, and so he flourished.

Maria was loved by many in the community, especially at Peel Manor. Not only was she a resident there but she also proudly worked there for many years.
Mom was a very hard worker and wanted to provide the necessities in life for her family.

BERBEN, Frank - Frank Berben passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the age of 98, at Holland Christian Homes – Grace Manor.
Prior to coming to Canada, Frank was an esteemed Road Service Person working for Wegenwach in the Netherlands. Frank came to Canada from the Netherlands in 1954 with his wife Babs. A short while later, Frank and Babs spent a year in the United States (California) where Frank proudly worked as an auto mechanic and even serviced a Volkswagen owned by Ginger from the TV series, Gilligan’s Island.
Upon their return to Canada a year later, Frank continued his work as an auto mechanic at Sunoco for several years then joined Litton Systems and became a proficient and versatile technician.

BROCK, Joan Elizabeth - Passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the age of 86.
Joan Elizabeth Brock was born to John and Elizabeth Seager in Orillia in January 1935. She began her teaching career in 1953. In 1955, she married Ross Brock and they enjoyed 65 incredible years together, raising two amazing daughters, Cherryl (Stanley Moote) and Gayla (Brian Woodland.)
They were blessed with three wonderful grandchildren, Victoria and Brock Moote (Carmen Keung) and Matthew Woodland. She loved much, and was much loved.
Joan was known for her great love of life and nature. She was the world’s best Mom and Grandma, extraordinary cook and a good, kind person through and through. She always had a positive view and a kind word for everyone.
Her deep sense of caring filled every part of her life, including her years as an educator. Hundreds of Peel children were fortunate to have had Mrs. Brock as their teacher.

Victor was the eldest child of the late Rhoda Edwards and the late Archibald (Percy) Haynes. He was born on May 3, 1925 and left us at the age of 96 years.

ORMISTON, Ronald Lockhart - Ronald Lockhart Ormiston unexpectantly passed away on Wednesday May 12, 2021, in Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 90. He was experiencing very low blood pressure on Sunday May 9th and was admitted to the hospital where he passed 3 days later.
Ron was predeceased by his first wife, Donna Jaques Ford, whom he married in 1968 and adopted her young son of eleven, Kenneth Paul (Ford) Ormiston. Ron and Ken laid to rest their wife/mother in 1975.
In 1984 Ron married Ruth Adams Morningstar and welcomed with open arms more family into his life with Ruth’s adult children. He became a loving step-father to Jane Morningstar (Jack Velanoff), Scott Morningstar (Pamela Morningstar) and JoAnne Pedersen (Boje Pedersen).

Known as Omi, she will be remembered lovingly by her daughter, grandchildren Luke and Lana, Michael and Ghia, and Paul and Olivia, and her great grandchildren, Kiran, Gabriel and Sebastian
She is also fondly remembered by David, for whom she had a very special place in her heart.
