BONNELL, Aleeshia Kristen Bonnell

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Aleeshia Bonnell on March 4, 2026.

Through her 37 year journey Aleeshia touched many lives with her kindness, generosity and humour. She had a true love for life. While being Mom’s girl and Dad’s princess, she was also independent and strong. She was adventurous, spontaneous and fearless in all that she did. She loved travel and new experiences and had strong ties to her second home, Dominican Republic.

She is survived by her parents, Wesley and Sherri Bonnell, her brother Cory, her husband Alberto, grandmother Betty Cashmore, her step mother Leanne, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

A viewing will be held on March 12 from 6 pm to 8 pm with a service being held on March 13’th at 1 pm, with refreshments to follow. Both will be held at Barnes Funeral Home in Whitby

Her light may no longer shine before us, but it still warms from within.
