Alexander Emanuel Sills - 16-Jul-1944 - 23-Aug-2024

During his early years Alexander enjoyed riding his motorcycle, lifting weights, and going dancing. He immigrated to New York City and later to Toronto, where he settled down with his wife and three children.

Alexander took great pride in his career at the Don Jail as an Operations Manager, where he joyfully shared stories about his co-workers and the respect he cultivated from in-mates. After retiring, he enjoyed spending time in Florida.

He loved his family, his green garden, spotless cars, and a mid- morning snack paired with a good coffee.

Alexander is survived by his loving wife Barbara, his three children Terry, Angelee and Mark, their spouses Diane, Tony, and Chris, and the four granddaughters he adored, Mikala (Karlo), Emily (Chris), Taylor (Demetre), and Sophie.

He was a loving brother to Yvonne, Patricia, John, Elizabeth, and Debbie.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Ivan and Peter, and parents Lucius and Dorothy.

 Alexander will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
