BENT, Carol Ann (nee GARRETT) - January 23, 1942 - June 2, 2022
Our beloved Carol Ann Garrett Bent, passed away on June 2nd, from cancer, at the age of 80.
Born in Cottam, Essex County, to Evelyn (Ross) Garrett and Willard Robert Garrett (both predeceased) and married David Bent (predeceased) in 1969.
Missed by her siblings, Barbara Broadhead and Bob Garrett, her adoring children Susan (Bent) Rempel, Christopher Bent, Nancy Bent, and Mary Ann Bent, and her sons-in-law David, Tyler and Miguel. Her "pride and joy", her grandchildren, Garrett Rempel, Brandon and Mika Bent and her bonus grandchild, Camilla, hold her in their hearts.
Cherished by dear friends and former colleagues at the Children's Aid Society of Toronto.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7th, at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, and the Memorial will be held on Wednesday, June 8th, at 12 p.m. at St. Luke's Anglican Church in Toronto.
Donations are welcome to the Children's Aid Foundation.
