Katherine "Katy" Elizabeth Chana

February 13, 1953 - November 22, 2024

Katherine Elizabeth “Katy” Chana (née Houston) passed away peacefully at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the age of 71. Katy was a caring aunt, devoted sister, neonatal nurse, world traveler, and avid reader whose compassion and spirit touched many lives.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Gurmeet Chana, and her parents, Bill and Kally Houston, Katy is lovingly remembered by her sister, Ginny Benbow, her brothers, John, Ian (Lorraine), and Bill Houston, and her many nieces and nephews.

The family expresses their deepest gratitude to her caregiver, Geraldine Frail, as well as to Dr. Wells, the doctors and staff at CGMH, RVH, and the staff and volunteers at Campbell House, Hospice Georgian Triangle, for their exceptional care.
