Ian Leiper Duff

July 17, 1938 – February 2, 2025

Ian Duff left us peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the age of 86, with his family by his side.
He is now reunited with his late wife, Jacqueline Duff, and his late daughter, Hilary Edwards.
Ian is survived by his children, Glenda Kukulowicz and Graham Duff, his son-in-law Jeff Kukulowicz,
and his grandchildren Eric Kukulowicz and Jamie Kukulowicz.
He will be dearly missed by his sisters Lilian and Helen in England, as well as numerous family members and friends who will forever hold his memory dear.

Born on July 17, 1938, in Aberdeen, Scotland, Ian was a cherished member of his community and a beloved friend to many.
His life was marked by his many interests, worldly travels, and deep appreciation for the Arts and Humanities.
Though his academic background was in Chemical Engineering, Ian had a profound love for Literature, Philosophy, Music, and Religion.
He was known for his engaging conversations, intellectual curiosity, and his ability to discuss any topic with great depth of understanding.

Ian deeply valued his family, keeping in close contact with loved ones near and far.
Whether sharing a joke with his sisters in England or discussing planetary alignments with his grandchildren in Vancouver,
his warmth, humor, and love for connection were ever-present.
