CRANFORD, Pamela – Passed away unexpectedly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, October 27, 2015.

Pam, beloved partner of Russell Hineman. Loving mother of Christine and Cody.

Dear daughter of William and Kathleen Cranford. Loving sister of William and his wife Trina, Anthony and his wife Denise, Rick and his wife Shannon and Tracy Skinner and her husband Todd.

Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Billy, Ashley, Karley, Joshua, Erin, Alex, Leah and Matthew. The family would like to thank all her friends who supported her, especially her cherished friends Judy, Debbie, Frank and Jane.

Visitation will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville on Sunday, November 1st from 1 – 6 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, November 2nd at 11 a.m.

Donations in Pam’s memory may be made to Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre or the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.

Pam was a 27-year employee of OPG and member of the Wednesday night Ladies Volleyball League.

After a brief battle with cancer, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Nana at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Predeceased by her parents Walter King and Mary McComish, sisters Lillian, Eleanor, brother Frank and daughters Jeanne and Karen.

She will greatly missed by her grandchildren Kim (Doug), Andre (Melanie), Ann Marie, Great-grandchildren Ryan (Desiree), Ayden, Brendan, great-great grandson Ethan and best friend of 57 years Gord McCrimmon.

Interment of Muriel’s cremated remains to take place at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.

After a courageous battle with an aggressive cancer on Monday, October 26th, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with her family by her side, at a very young age of 48. 

Beloved wife of Jerry Clayson. 

Devoted mom of Kyle and Kirsten, and devoted step-mom of Courtney.

Dear daughter of Paul and the late Isa Nolet. 

Cherished sister of Debra Shadlock (Steve), Diana Clayson (Stephen), Perry Nolet, Lee Nolet (Michelle) and Chanel Nolet.

Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Derek, Lee-Andrea, Steven, Nicolette, Stephanie, Brandon, Dylan, Angelina, Amberlee and Amy.

Dear sister-in-law of Troy (Anne), Michelle (Domenic), Cathy and their children Amanda, Brittany, Ryan, Danielle, Nicholas, Jacob, Emma and Kaiden.  She will be sadly missed by her extended family and many friends. 

A special heartfelt thankyou to Stephanie, Kathy Husband and all the nurses and doctors for their exceptional care.

ARMSTRONG, Arley Walter -   (R.A.F. Veteran W.W. II) of Petrolia, Ontario

Suddenly on October 26th at Butternut Manor, Uxbridge in his 94th year. 

Husband of the late Margaret Armstrong. 

Much loved father of Lloyd (Leslie-Jayne) Armstrong of Ottawa, John (Nancy) Armstrong of Stouffville, and Janet (Dan) Lehman of Uxbridge.

Beloved grandfather of Meredith (Todd) Kemp, Laura (Jesse) Fox, Diane and Aaron Lehman, Matthew, Rachel and Jessie Armstrong.  Beloved Great Grandfather to Arleigh Kemp. 

Predeceased by his sister Shirley Hodgson (nee Armstrong) and will be missed by brother-in-law Carl Hodgson.

Arley served as an air gunner with the RAF15 Squadron.

He rose to the rank of Flying Officer and was decorated with a Distinguished Flying Medal.

Upon return to Canada, he joined Imperial Oil Limited in Sarnia (later Toronto) and retired in Chatham after over 36 years of valued service to the company.

Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to a memorial open house in Arley’s honour to take place at the Royal Canadian Legion, Uxbridge Branch on Sunday November 22nd from 1 pm – 4 pm.  

If desired donations may be made to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation or the Uxbridge Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
