Michael Csikos
1932 - October 12, 2024

On the 12th of October 2024, at the age of 91, Michael passed away peacefully at his home. He will be dearly missed by his wife Betty, with whom he shared 69 years of marriage. Michael was a loving father to their three sons, Mike (Deb), Kevin (Melanie), and Dave (Suzette), and a proud grandfather to Meghan (Dan), Chelsea (Andrew), Max, Charles, Cody, and Justin. He was also the cherished great-grandfather of Santi.

As a talented mechanic, Michael pursued a career in education, teaching in the automotive trades. He taught the Automotive Apprenticeship Program at Conestoga College in Guelph and completed his teaching career at Thorold Secondary School. Michael was a lifelong learner and someone who enjoyed helping others.

Michael had a long and happy retirement, creating many cherished memories with his grandchildren and building lasting friendships. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the first responders and Officer MacLeod, as well as a special thank you to the Couley family for their help and assistance.

In keeping with Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and the family will gather at Fonthill Cemetery for a private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
