Peacefully, in his sleep on January 28, 2024, at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, at the age of 96.
He is reunited in Heaven with his wife, Beverley; and son, John Jr. John leaves behind his daughters, Beverley Footman (Roger) and Kimberley Wright (Jamie Ryan); his granddaughters, Courtney Wright and Leeanne Buonassissi (Alex); great-grandson, Oakland; and his beloved dog, Meesha.
Visitation at Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, 715 Centre Road, Waterdown, on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment in the Spring in Caledon.
