MURATA, Katsumi Irene (nee HAYASHI) - Our wife, mother and grandmother passed peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the age of 83.
Beloved wife of 55 years to Yuki. Loving mother of Alison (Sean) and Ryan (Kelly).
Cherished grandmother/bachan of Tyler, Noah, Luke, Zachary and Nathan.
Predeceased by her parents, Hachijiro (Sam) and Kimiye; and her brother, Erick.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nursing staff on 4C and 6J at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital.
Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, on Sunday, November 5th, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Irene may be made to the SickKids Foundation, Diabetes Canada, or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
