Robertson LewROBERTSON, Lewis Victor 'Lew' - (January 30, 1934 – December 26, 2020) - Lew, with his enduring faith has passed peacefully to his Lord’s loving care.

Predeceased by his wife Patricia.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by, Vicki, Karen, David, Bert, Catherine, his grandchildren Rebecca, Taylor, Devon, Rachel, Jayden and his great grandchildren Oakleigh and Audrey.

Loving brother of Eleanor, Gertrude, Mary and predeceased by his parents Reta and Lewis Robertson.

Lew dedicated his time loving and playing with his family, serving his church, renovating, and clearing everyone’s snow. Lew loved the water, sailing the seas of the Arctic, Caribbean, and Canada’s inland lakes, being a hydrographer with the Government of Canada.

Lewis was an amazing photographer and artifact collector, interests he pursued throughout his travels. Lew was proud of his family history with Shelburne Fisheries and the Robertson schooners.

Lew was always walking, especially the woods with his dogs and family. Lew will always be remembered for his kindness, gentle soul and trickster ways, his sense of humour and wonderful smile.

We appreciate the compassion provided by his caregivers. In memoriam donations to the Durham Region Hospice, 1615 Dundas Street East, Lang Tower West, Suite 304, Whitby, ON L1N2L1 would be appreciated.
