MULLIGAN,Winona Scott MulliganMULLIGAN, Winona Scott (Tefft) Mulligan  -  Beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully, on June 2, 2024, at the age of 88.

Born on May 23, 1936, Winona lived a life of compassion, dedication, and service to others.

Winona graduated from the University of Toronto, earning a degree in physiotherapy.

After working for years in rehabilitation at Toronto General Hospital, she used her considerable talent as a counsellor and massage therapist at the Donwood and Bellwood clinics, teaching those with substance abuse issues how to manage their addictions. Her commitment and her tireless work left an indelible mark on countless lives.

Winona was a champion of "Save the Rouge Valley" ensuring that it remains a sanctuary for future generations. An avid antique collector and garage "saler," she always found joy in discovering hidden treasures.

As a devout Christian, Winona's faith was a source of strength and comfort. Winona's greatest joy came from her large circle of friends and her family.

She was an amazing and loving mother to Bradley (Patricia Toller), Katrina (Roy Roman, her "Sweet Pea") and Scott Mulligan.

Grandmother to Alexander, Nicholas, Abigail and Timothy. Her love for her sister, Gwen Tefft; brother; Don Tefft; as well as her niece and nephews, Laura, Andrew, and Frank Tefft, was boundless.

The family would like to recognize and appreciates her incredible "Village" of friends she so adored at Sheppard Village and the care she received in her last year of life from her angels on earth, Dexie, Wenelyn, Joannafer, Joy, Margaret, and Alison.

Her Celebration of Life and Service will be held on July 19, 2024, at Shepherd Village, 3760 Shepherd Ave. E. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service from 11:00-11:45 a.m., with a Reception to follow from 11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m., featuring sandwiches with the crusts cut off, as per Winona's wishes.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Rouge Valley Conservation Centre are welcome and appreciated
