NOONAN, Lynn Noonan
Wendy Lynn Noonan (Ford) passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on March 23, 2026 at Heritage House, long term care home at the age of 82. Born in 1943, she is survived by her husband, Patrick Dennis Noonan (St. Jacobs). Mother to Mark Noonan (Georgetown), Marny Adams and her husband Rob (Oakville), Jamie Noonan and his wife Debby (Cambridge). Daughter of Hank and Frank Ford. Sister to Judy, David and Lori Ford. Grandmother to Nikki Armstrong (Noonan), Blake Noonan, Lucas Sharpen, Rowen and Claire Noonan. Great grandmother to Halle and Emmet Armstrong, Georgia and Arostaios Noonan.

Lynn experienced all that life has to offer. Married for 65 years, she was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She travelled far and wide and enjoyed a drink and time with many friends. Lynn was a passionate schoolteacher but also lifelong student. In her 40’s, she went back to university as a working mother and was very proud of her Bachelor’s degree. She took on several different hobbies that included an enthusiasm for refinishing antique furniture, photography, quilting, home decorating, scrapbooking, and restoring an 18th century farmhouse (Sheffield), a true joy for her and Dennis. She took on many different forms of volunteer work, including numerous church events, the schoolhouse and giftshop at Westfield Heritage Village, serving tea at Nithview long term care home and the role of Mrs. Clause with her husband as Santa Clause for many events while in retirement. A true love were her many dogs and cats she rescued over the years.

“I will cherish all the friendship I was fortunate to find, all the love and all the laughter in the place I left behind” (The Next Place).

A private service of remembrance will be held by the family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg.
