Daughter of Rev./Prof. Robert Dunsmore Tannahill and Gertrude Robertson.
She is survived by her sister, Grace Tannahill, and predeceased by her husband, Ted Bentley.
She was a step-mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

To say that Alice loved to read would be an understatement!
Alice was a patron of the arts - she loved listening to classical music, visits to the opera and a good read.
Alice's lifelong love of reading led her to a career in Toronto with MacMillan of Canada.
Alice was a faithful member of Bloor United Church for over 50 years.
She was not a fan of technology but embraced her ZOOM services for church despite COVID.
Alice thoroughly enjoyed her annual summer meetings with "The Gang" in Bala, Ontario, a group of independent women ahead of their time.
She also cherished her long luncheons with the retired employees of MacMillan of Canada.
A special heartfelt thank you to the staff at Meaford Long Term Care for the dignity and compassionate care given to Alice for the past 2 years.
Donations to be made in her memory to Bloor United Church
