PEJIC, Nada (nee OPACIC) - Memory Eternal - Vjecnaja Pamjat It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Nada, on May 22, 2023, at the age of 93.
Nada immigrated to Canada, from the former Yugoslavia, in 1963.
She soon found a job with the Hudson's Bay Company, and worked there for many happy years.
All who knew Nada remember her as a kind woman with a wonderful sense of humour.
Nada was recently preceded in death by her cherished husband, Milan. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 6-8 p.m., at Turner & Porter Funeral Home, located at 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, with a Pomen being held at 7 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 1 p.m., at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oakville.
After interment, a traditional Serbian memorial luncheon, a "Daca," will be held at the All Serbian Saints Serbian Orthodox Church, located at 2520 Dixie Rd., Mississauga.
Donations in memory of Nada may be made to the Serbian Orthodox Church.
