SALAM, Amy - It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Amy Salam, who left this world on July 7, 2023 at the age of 81 in Vaughan, Ontario.
She was promoted to peace into God’s hands after a long battle following a stroke.
She was a pillar of strength, love, and generosity, and her loss is deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on April 1, 1942 in Tiberius, Israel, Amal Abu Dehais was the 2nd eldest daughter of nine children and a vibrant spirit in her family.
She was a woman of great character, known for her unwavering dedication to her family. Her devotion and unconditional love touched the lives of everyone she met.
Amy was a beloved force to be reckoned with throughout her real estate career of 36 years, and she was always a champion for those in need.
Amy Salam leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and strength. She will be forever cherished and remembered by her children, Amanda (Wil), Mark (Andrea) & Dina (Brian) and her six grandchildren - David, Kayla, Kaiden, Evey, Asher & Bodhi.
The void left by Amy’s passing is immeasurable, but her life will continue to guide and inspire her loved ones – her creativity, hospitality, joy and laughter will live on. And she will forever remain in our hearts - her memory will be a source of comfort and strength for generations to come.
Celebration of life service will be held on Friday July 14, 2023 at 12pm in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
